A few weeks ago Christopher came to me while I was sewing a dress out of some brown fabric.
Chris: What are you doing?
Me: I'm making a costume.
Chris: For what?
Me: The Prairie Picnic at school.
Chris: The What?
Me: Prairie Picnic, you know you were in it last year when you were in Kindergarten! Do you know the little girl off of Sesame Street, Prairie Dawn?
Chris: Um, Mom, Why in the world would you want to dress up as a Prairie Dog!
Me: No, its a Prairie Dawn, not prairie dog. Ha Ha Prairie Dog. Your silly! I'm making a Prairie Dress.
